One of the most important factors when calculating the required power is the volume of the space to be cooled. The volume (or 'volume') is expressed in cubic meters (m3) and can be calculated as the length x width x height of your space.

Commissioning of air conditioner
Following the F-Gas Regulation (EU) 517/2014, which came into effect on January 1, 2015, it is necessary that every air conditioning system purchased is made operational by an installer with an F-Gas certification. This is in line with the requirements set out in Article 10 of the aforementioned regulation.

It is a requirement that the installation of an air conditioning system, consisting of an indoor and outdoor unit (also known as split-unit air conditioning), is only carried out by installers who have received the correct certification.
